40th World Chess Olympiad starts tomorrow

40.  World Chess Olympiad starts tomorrow in Istanbul . 1428 players participate to Olympiad from  161 different countries, the organization held in Istanbul Expo Center reported.

  World Chess Olympics opening ceremony be held tomorrow, Yeşilköy WOW Hotel. During the Olympic, 83th The World Chess Federation (FIDE) Congress, the World Under 16 Chess Olympiad, 11 Istanbul International Festival of Chess, the FIDE referee, coach and organizer trainings to be done.

In the meantime, the Olympic Web site, "www.chessolympiadistanbul.com" in Turkish, English, Russian, French, Spanish and Arabic will serve in 6 different languages​​. All matches will be available live via the Internet during the Olympics.

A worldwide Euro Cup 2012

Since few weeks ago, I noticed almost most people I met in Indonesia mentioning the Euro Cup 2012. They would say, they favor Germany, Italy or Spain and try to discuss their view about all team. Funny, because their national team never be able to enter any international prestige. I also one of a fanatic soccer fan and bet for Spain. What wonder me is this Euro Cup tournament seems to be a special event for everyone life in Bali. because almost everyone said they dare to keep open their eyes after mid night to wait for the match.

This early evening, I went for shopping in a mall in Kuta. When I drove along sunset road, there was unusual quieter traffic. I was thinking, it must because of the final match of Euro Cup 2012, Spain against Italy. I guess most of people prepare for the match at 2.40 am Bali time. My imagination is clear that they usually sleep early and woke up on time of the match. Can we imagine those people put their alarm clock on time for the match and when the alarm ringing, woke up with sloppy eyes staggering to turn on their TV? I also sure they would make a cup of coffee to make their eyes wider. As soon as the game started, with enthusiastic feeling they would start yielding and murmuring to comment about their team favorite team effort.

Thinking about soccer, this kind of sport has worldwide fans without borders of age, race, national and status. There are many kind of sports but seems soccer is the most favorable sport with billions of viewers. It's seems this sport could compete with religion and ideology which gather human kind into the same view. From my point of view, the differences are, this sport brings joys and unity to feed the nature of human kind to compete in survival way to win. It's harmless compare to religion and ideology which mostly caused harm to individual or community.

I remember the motto of all sports in Latin "Men Sana in Cor-pore Sano" means in the healthy body contain the healthy mind. What does it means to us? Let's we look at a sport star in Spain soccer team for example Fernando Torres. When Spain team won the match, in front of the crowd, on TV we saw Torres took his two children to the mid field and let them running around. Some other team members also done the same. Isn't it very sweet to see the favorite star showing their love to his family? The news mentioned, most Spain soccer team take along their family into the tournament event to support them. Also mentioned by the reporter that the Spain motivation to play fiercely coming from their family support. The fans would be so contented to know the star has a healthy life style which match with the motto of all sport. Compare to Mario Balotelli with his comrade from Manchester City Rodney who recently have turbulent bad news involving prostitute? The fans would say "Oh no what is that?" even though their are stars of sport, but this bad news would not contented the fans. Do you know why? Because it is not match with the motto of all sport. They may healthy in body but not in their mind to break the heart of their love one. I surely believe, sport can be a role model for human kind to have a motto "Men Sana in Cor-pore Sano" I have an idea, to unity people in better way, sport can be the one way compare to any other way.

Anand defended his title again

After 2010 Veselin Topalov challenge, world champion Indian Super GM Vismanathan Anand won against Israeli Grand Master Boris Gelfald after tiebreak 2.5, 1.5 / 4 .Match played at Moscow State Tretyakov Gallery, between 11 may - 30 may 2012.

Same like previous challenge Anand lost first game in 7th game but surprisingly in 8th game Gelfald made a big blunder and score tied again in standart time control games. Regular time control games finished 6-6 tied +1-1=10.

Rapid games which Anand always favorite in world.25 minutes time control 4 games played in one day and 1 Anand win 3 draw resulted.

If someone wondering why World Number 1 rated player Norwegian Magnus Carlsen is not there against Anand.Because he withdrew from candidates tournament with declaration against format of tour for challenge.I want to see him in the chair against Anand.

Bali Equestrian Center is first horse show jumping place in island.Opened just this year with one big indoor area and big outdoor areas,paddocks and stables.It serves for stables like horse boarding for who own horses, ride courses for kids, riding on beach but later on it can be host for international events i believe.http://www.baliequestriancentre.com/ Located in Jalan Brawa very close to another sport center Canggu Club.

Tulamben, Amed ,Diving

There is not only surfing in Bali.Yes i know Bali has nice waves, very good for surfing.But there is something under those waves too.North side of island is best place for you if you like diving.Amed and Tulamben, besides beauty of underwater there is also an USAT marine warship (Transport Ship) laying there which sunk in WWII 1942 by Japanese submarine torpedo (not the one sunk in 1967 with similar name USS Liberty).

Amed more crowded than Tulamben.So if you like more quiet place it is better for you Tulamben.Tulamben is also much closer to this ship.These areas much more dry than rest of Bali.It maybe because of weather little bit different but people say it is because of erupted volcano which has very nice scenary.

So in this area there are some lands beachfront 3 hectares nice for resort for divers accomodation.There are some resorts already there but I can not say they are 5 stars.
