Pop up message box

Maybe you see sometimes some sites have message boxes appears on screen. And you wonder how they do it. Here i want to show you how to do it. But it is not pop up window. It is different thing.


You have to use javascript for this. There are 3 type message box you can make. And for those 3 there are 3 different attribute you have to use.

1. Alert
2. Confirm
3. Prompt


Anyway now how to create one of this? This boxes can appears either on first page load or while you leaving a page or any other action. But you can use them with a button too. So we will use this one now. Later on we can practice other ones. But for now with button click we will see how it works.


Alert
To make a button you use an input and give attribute type as button ( there are different ways also create a button ) and use javascript onclick = alert and type something inside parenthesis. Beside parenthesis you can see some other punctuation marks used there. They are also parts of the code. You can also see there is no ending tag only starting one single tag there.

Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky originally from Siberia, Russia. Siberian Husky is a popular dog breed. Mostly people mix up with Alaskan Malamute and Husky. In fact it is easy to distinguish. Easier way to distinguish them; Malamutes are usually thicker (legs and body) than Huskies. But both of them are members of working dog group. Siberian Husky is middle sized dog.  Siberian Huskies also looks like wolves very much. They used as a draft (sled dog)mostly to drag carts for many years. Siberian Husky' temperament is very lovely but they are stubborn dogs. Mostly they are black colored with white lower body but they can be in different colors. Pure white single color or brown instead of black also common in Huskies. And other distinguishable mark is their eyes usually ocean blue color but it can be also different colors which called 'heterochromia' this can be seen in some cat breeds too. Both eyes can be different colors too. People sometimes call them with name 'husky' like i do here but there are different type of huskies. Husky is a type of dog actually. So in fact it is a wrong name. They get along good with kids and they are family dogs but little bit stubborn dogs and can be naughty sometimes. In fact they get along good with other dogs and animals too except rats, birds etc.. because they try to hunt them. Quite energetic dogs like most of working dogs. So they will need exercise and big yard. They have double coated but thick double coat. They have moderate moulting and need brushing time to time. In 1905-1908 they brought to Alaska and spread to entire world from there it said.

Drop down menu is wide range topic. Here let me show you an example for a form with using html codes. For this you need to use select and option elements. I mean they are essential elements you can use other several different elements too depends on what kind of menu you want.

Let me give a very simple example first. You write first this element <select>  and close it like this </select>
The result will be like this:

As you see when you click on arrow it does not show anything. To show something when arrow clicked you need to add something more. In between these selects you need to put options. Write there <option> and close it </option>. And repeat it as how many you want. Lets say you want 3 options. Then 3 times repeat it. And between options type what you want to be selected. I wrote me, you, everybody. You can write anything you want.

So it will be like this:

         There are many temples in Bali that is why they call it 'island of gods'. There are small ones and big ones, for families and big families and areas and some series of important temples.      Like i said it is belong to all Balinese people. There is a reason for it and it is not only a religious reason but ancesteral. Why? Because Balinese people when they first immigrate here to island from Java Island ( yes they are not original people of Island, Original Balinese People is called Bali Aga or Trunyan People) around 40 Clan came to island and they built this temple and inside the temple there are temples for each 40 clan. Now all the people in Bali are member of one of this clan and automatically member of one of this temple there.

Nutrition's intake daily dose recommendation

These dosages are recommended by doctors. I recommend you to consult to your doctor for intake of any nutrient in any conditions because these datas can be change by some conditions. You can see even on net or in books RDA ranges shows different numbers on each source. This one here given, taken from a medical doctor who is working about nutritions. And as you can see doses here are higher. So the data here given can be unreliable.

RDA  ( Recommended Dietary Allowance) or RDI (Recommended Daily Intake), R can be mentioned sometimes for Reference or Range too.

People can ask why there is a dosage for a vitamin or nutrients or supplements. Yes because not only prescriptions can be harmful but if you take overdose of vitamins can cause intoxication or several other problems too. It does not matter it is natural nor synthetic. Because a vitamin itself usually an acid compound or any chemical compound  ( for example  Vit. Galungan and Kuningan

Galungan soon will start for 2012 in Bali. What is The Galungan? Galungan a kind of holiday in Bali which ends with Kuningan. According to Balinese calendar it starts in different days in every year. Sometimes twice a year it took place because it calculated by 210 day calendar. So means it take place in every seven months. This year in 2012 it will start  29 august and Kuningan is 8 september. In Balinese Hinduism belief during Galungan their deceased ancestors visiting the earth. To welcome them, people clean temples, make offerings, dances and lots of penjors ( a bamboo pole ) set on sides of roads. If you see penjors around the roads you can know this is galungan time in Bali as a foreigner.

Anyway I say "Selamat Hari Raya Galungan dan Kuningan"( Happy Galungan and Kuningan ).

A small simple slider example

I want to show here a small example how to make a slider with java script.

First of all you need a host which will keep pictures there. It can be freehost or your self hosting place. Secondly you have to know at least little bit from html and scripting especially javascript. Otherwise you only copy this code and follow instructions to do it.
Why need a host? Because if there is no host server even if you write code and and source is your local machine which is your pc, the result will be like this.

Anyway now how to do it step by step. You need pictures first. More than one picture of course. To make it faster i mean because some technical issues. You need to change format and size of picture or just choose .gif format pictures. Lets make it 3 pictures slider. If you do not know how to change the format or what format is. Just use any picture and later on learn how to change format. Why change it because big size picture can make page load time slower.

Ok if pictures are ready the other issue is where you want to use this slider. Do you have your website or blog. Because both is different issue.
For website, you can directly write codes and load pictures. But blog, you need to upload the pictures somewhere first on net.

Ok now if all done.
First we have to write this. Let me explain what is it first briefly. You written here some variables. If you do not have any clue what it is, no problem. And put this in between head tag. Replace "your picture here" with your picture name whatever its name. If you also do not know it just write click on picture and choose properties. There you go its name and extension there written.

What we doing here is we put first picture inside body somewhere and later we write a javascript code with functions to slide it to other pictures.

German Shepherd Dog

German Shepherd Dog also known as alsatian, herder, gsd, berger allemand, deutsher schaferhund, schaferhund is a herding dog group member originally from Germany. German Shepherd is one of most popular pet dog in the world. 

German Shepherd is big size dog. German Shepherd is a herding dog but using as a guard dog, police dog, rescue dog too. 


German Shepherds quite active dogs, they will need a big yard. Also this breed is get along very good with kids and family. 

There is some myths that says their origin even older like ( BC 500s ) and they are developed directly from wolves and dogs mating. When you see them they really look like wolves. But this is not clear i guess. 

Their real popularity in fact spread world wide after first world war. American soldiers brought it to america it said. Also the name 'alsatian' is given them by Englishes. Because of hatred against Germans cause of world wars. They denied this dogs origin from Germany. German Shepherds helped a lot in wars to Germans anyway. Even one of the famous German Shepherd is Hitler' dog 'Blondi'.

They have some bloodlines which are important for pureness such as ' Von Beliz'. It is important because it is hard to find well formed body shape German Shepherd. 

Common health problems are hip and elbow dysplasia, spinal problems. Especially hip problems are very common in this breed. Their anatomy is little bit different than other dogs you can see their back is little bit bent backward. It is like a sign for German Shepherd. When they stand it looks like they are preparing to attacking toward something. But in fact it is their normal stand position.

There is a program for it you  can use. Ap tuner. It is a freeware program. I used old version before like ap tuner 3.06 and i had some problems but newer version ap tuner 3.08 working very well. Very simple, small and effective program.

What is this Illuminati?

People,we are sleeping and controlled by some people? What the heck is Illuminati, N.W.O. and conspiracies running around?

 On net for a while I am seeing about this. Illuminati like this, Illuminati like that. Is there something like this really or is it just conspiracy?

 I made some search about it and want to write here what i am thinking about it. The problem is first of all no one name it properly. That is what i have seen. Because most of claimers say it is a group of people satanist, atheist, jewish, freemasons, esoteric, ecumenical, jacobins etc.. and their goal is make everybody like them or govern all people secretly etc...Most of those terms are opposite to each other. At same time they say these people are jewish or knight templar and also atheist and also it is base on catholic and west based or islamic and anti christ. A person can not be at same time atheist and member of a religious group. That is the main argument i stuck. Other than this some arguments those people uses mostly taken by some politic ideologies and groups or stolen. Especially left side politics and give people like something new found. Why i say this? Because in 70s 80s different ideological group members stayed in jails together  in my country and they learnt a lot from left side politics and adopted it partly and changed or ad little bit more and try to use it. Why left sides and humanitarians? Because for long time they talking about those kind of things and facts which is not a secret or conspiracy. For example the word "American Interests" is not a secret, governments say it very clearly even on tv.  By the way let me say I do not say there is not such things on the world or completely agree with all theories.

I know this is also not related with title of site but I do not want to open for every single thing a new blog. I want to show here what i searched and got from this here for you. It will be little bit hard to put all of it here so i decided to make it as a series of articles so this is part 1. In fact it will be including many things from 9/11 to David Icke, Illuminati to Zeitgeist, movies and sport and celebrities, Ku Klux Klan to Mormons to Scientology to any kind of religion and many more . Border Collie

This breed has chosen as a most intelligent dog by most of canine organizations. Even there is a category in agility competitions ABC ( anything but border collies) because of their high success in competitions and also in other competitions such as frisbee catching ( Disc Dog) and sheepdog trials and more. They have excellent acrobatic skills which gives them success in jumping obstacles. Also can be useful for drug detection dog, police dog or rescue dog.

They are very highly sensitive to praise and very high trainability dogs.

Border collies are medium size dogs and herding dogs. They are very good in herding. Border Collie is originally from Scotland. They produced first near Scotland-England border.

Border collie's are highly energetic dogs. You need a big yard if you want to have one of them. They are not suitable for apartment life. They are very active dogs so they can damage your households. To tie them at backyard will not work neither. You can see them never stopping and running around, jumping around. Because their characteristic like that and they will be happier in this condition. Only physical exercise is not enough for this clever and industrious breed. They will want to work and they must use the body and mind. They are fast and agile, tireless energy cubes dogs.

They need brushing and bathing. They have moderate hair fall condition. Grooming is considerably medium level i can say. They can get easily tick, flea, lice because they like to playing around, active and outdoor dogs. They can bite kids sometimes because of their herding instinct like testing a sheep other than that they are good with kids.

Common health issues are hip dysplasia, epilepsy, eye anomaly, deafness, allergic to insect bites like most of the dogs. So yes they are healthy dogs mostly.

Similar but more calmer dogs to this breed are Australian Shepherd Dog and Shetland Shepherd ( Sheltie ). If you can not cope with Border Collie you should choose those two breeds.

Shih Tzu

Shih Tzu is member of small dog group, toy dogs and companion dog group. Shih Tzu another breed originally from China and one of the popular dog breeds all over the world. Also known as Chinese Lion Dog, Chrysanthemum Dog. Shih Tzus very similar to Pekingese, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese and Lhasa Apso. It is believed that their origin comes from these 2 breeds Pekingese and Lhasa Apso. Colors can be different mix colors. Life span is quite long like 15 years and more. So yes they are strong dogs in spite of their weak appearance.

This breed need a good grooming almost everyday brushing but not wash them everyday like all other dogs. They not fall hairs much but still needed to brushing. They can be bossy dogs and aggressive sometimes and hard to handle. It can come to people strange but they are also into class of herding dogs. But not using for this in anywhere. Because of its grooming and health issues most people will avoid to have one of them. Because it can be costy for them. Also because of appearances they are little bit girly dogs and mostly choosen by female owners.

Common heatlh problems like Pugs and similar dogs their eyes are sensitive and hairs around eyes can cause irritation on eye balls oftenly. You need to use eyes creams, ointments, drops for this. Also like other small dogs you have to avoid them to mate with other breeds especially bigger breeds. Otherwise can cause troubles while they given birth. I suggest you to sterile them if you are not a breeder. Other common health problems hypothyroidism, liver problems, hip dysplasia, intervertebral disk disease, respiratory problems.  Their coat also little bit different than other breeds anatomically with extra layer. And specifically  on their nose hairs growing upwards. On top of their head mostly hairs attached with cliches because of their vision can be closed by hairs but you must be careful to do it. You should not tie it very tight or do not keep cliches very long there it can cause skin problems in route of hairs.

They do not need heavy exercises but they can be very lazy so sometimes you need to force them to walk time to time. With the kids has no problem and get along very well. Usually very calm and not barking too much. In England in 1946 and in American Kennel Club in 1969 they recognized.

Happy Independence Day Indonesia

Today  ( 17 August ) is 67th Indonesia's Independence Day. I wish happy Independence Day for Indonesia and their citizens.


Brief History of Independence of Indonesia

17 August 1945 Soekarno proclaimed Independence of Indonesia and this day became Day of Independence.

First westerners coming to Indonesia were Portugueses (1511), Spaniards and then Dutch and British and last one Japaneses in II World War for about four years. During the discoveries of new continents ( New World ) Portuguese traders came to Indonesia for raw materials and spices mostly. Soon Dutch overpowered on Indonesia and became dominant power. The name of Batavia is coming from Dutch times for Jakarta area used.

In Indonesia there were kingdoms before occupations of west and first attempt against them was in 1666 by Sultan Hasanuddin of Goa which resulted by failure. In 1680 Prince Trunojoyo of Madura also defeated and killed by Dutch. In 1740 Chinese residents attempted a riot which later on Indonesians also involved but also failed and around ten thousand Chinese killed.


British came in 1714 but only stayed in Sumatera but Dutch was under occupation of Napoleon' France shortly they ruled Indonesia. After fall of Napoleon Dutch strengthened again and hold power but attempts against rule of Dutch continued.

Thomas Matulessy (Pattimura) revolt in Moluccas 1816-1818. The Java War 1825-1830 by Prince Diponegoro of Mataram. In west Sumatera, Padri War by Tuanku Imam Bonjol and in North Sumatera, Aceh War by Teuku Umar 1873-1903. Revolt in 1907 by King Sisingamangaraja of the Bataks. Also in 1908 Dutch attacked Bali and defended by King Udayana and repelled. Some other revolts also occurred in different islands and places such as Goa, Sulawesi, Kalimantan. But all of those attempts was failed or partly succeeded.

Nationalist awakening rouse by founding Budi Utomo by Dr. Soetomo on 20 may 1908. Founding aim was improvement of education, culture and awareness but turned a politic movement later on. It is founded by intellectuals considerably. Soon founded associations and parties. But most of leaders arrested or exiled by Dutch authorities.

In march 1942 Dutch forces surrendered to Japanese Army. Leaders like Soekorno and Hatta released same year. During the Japanese occupation four millions Indonesian died from starving and forced labor. During this occupation anthem, language and flag accepted by nationally. After two days of Japanese surrender in war Soekorno proclaimed Independence of Indonesia and became first president of Indonesia while Drs. Mohammad Hatta is vice president.

Nyepi

Nyepi or Hari Raya Nyepi is Balinese new year. On this day you can not go out or turn on lights. Only hospitals or police allowed this day to use electricity. It is day of silence and new year of Saka Calendar. For locals day for meditation, silence, fasting and so on religious rituals.


Each year it takes place on different days. In 2012 it was on 23  march and in 2013 it will be on 12 march. It has some calculation to find. It is based on Saka Calendar of Bali.

You can see at the mid night of this day Ogoh-ogoh which symbolize demons. They do parade first and fight with other villages ogoh-ogoh and then burn it. There is also competition for beauty contest for ogoh-ogoh. In fact it is one of the rituals parading them demonstrating to fight each other and then burn them. During this day there are several other rituals too but this one maybe the only one worth to watch.

Doberman

Doberman, Doberman Pinscher, Dobe or Dobie is the one of the most famous dog breed of the world. Dobermans' origin from Germany.

Dobermans have lots of myths about them. Most famous is Dobes can even attack and kill their owners. Do not worry because it is just a myth. They are not like Pit Bulls. But Dobes are aggressive dogs to strangers this is true and very alert dogs. This makes them a good guard dogs. Especially Dobermans are into working group dogs.


Life span is little bit lower than other breeds with avg. 10-13 years. You can see easily most dobes have cancer. This can be because of inbreeding it said like most of inbreed big dogs. Also hip dysplasia is commonly seen.

People mostly know only black color dobermans but they can have different colors such as blue, red/brown, fawn, white ( albino).

Doberman owners usually crop their ears and dock their tails. This mostly done when they were puppy but some people do it when they are old but it will not work if you do it late. even sometimes it does not work when you do it on time because sometimes they cropping from wrong places etc. There are several more breeds can be cropped their ears and it will be like Dobes ears ( for example Great Danes ) not all breeds ears suitable for it anatomically.  I personally against it but it is almost like dobermans' sign now. Without cropped ears and docked tails they not much look like doberman. In some countries and states it is banned. It can cause chronicle pain because of nerves it said.

They are very energetic dogs and hard to handle if not trained. Dobermans need exercises much. Especially running, jogging, daily walks. Also you need a big backyard with fences if you want to have a doberman.

Dobermans are easy to train breeds even one of the most trainable breed. Because they are highly intelligent breed.

Chess Engines

Chess engines are auto chess playing computer programs. They call it engine because in fact they are written for playing chess and does not need an interface but without interface user can not play with them or against them. What does it means? It means they can be as well console applications instead of web applications which mostly they are and integrate with interfaces. Even more than one engine you can add in one interface and they can play against each other too.

People mostly thinking they are like in movie of matrix a thinking computers but in fact they are not. What they do is actually only calculating. And this calculating can add even nonsense moves into evaluation. A chess engine can not perceive positional things or a simple perpetual check opportunity. Human brain or term of thinking is getting some data from outside and interpret it freely which is nothing to do with calculating. But they increasing these programs' abilities every year. They are quite strong even without positional or strategic understanding of game because of their calculating advantage gives them very high tactical capacity which none of human being can not reach ever. I can give you simple example for it. For example in movie of rainman the guy was like a chess engine too. But he can not have thinking ability like normal human being. This filtering avoid your brain calculate fast and huge data in seconds.

Professional players can not beat them anymore even world champions or world highest ranked players. Professional players nowadays use them for training. They can also run in standard computers as well high capability computers. People mostly thinking the first ever chess engine is IBM' Deep Blue because of its fame ( it beaten Kasparov in match but even it is not the first one who beaten Kasparov ). Even Bobby Fischer played against one of them and beat it. Some of them free share some of them not. That means you can have one of them in your computer too. For example chess master is not free. You see on sidebar bottom there is chess puzzle and on tab of more there is chess playing program attached to post is Shredder.

Anatolian Shepherd Dog-Kangal

Turkey' only recognized dog breed is this breed "Anatolian Shepherd Dog". They call it Kangal, Sivas Kangal ( this name come from the city which they said their origin is this city "Sivas") or Karabas too. Kangals are big dogs like St. Bernard but more athletic than them. In spite of their scary appearance they are really lovely dogs and no problem with family and kids as long as you are not a stranger.  Because they are good watch dogs and not like strangers around.

They are mostly white or cream colors with black mask on their faces. You can distinguish them by their size mostly. For a dog quite big and muscular body type which can reach even 90 cm shoulder height. So that means yes you need a lot of food budget. Also you need a big garden with fences.

They exporting them to Africa for herding and guarding herds against lions. Quite courageous dogs even can dare to fight with lions. You can choose Kangal as a guard dog. Maybe the best choice for a guard dog and highly loyal. In spite of  all of those they are not very very popular breed all over the world.

Pug is member of small dog group. Also toy group and companion dog group. It is energetic dog. They have sulky flat face, short mouth, smooth and short hairs. They mostly black or white or cream colors and light color ones has black mask on their faces. Pugs originally from China and has some Chinese dog breeds characteristics. They call it Chinese Pug too. Other names are Dutch Mastiff, Mini Mastiff, Dutch Bulldog and also has names like Carlin and Mops. General health issue is about their eyes because of their anatomy. Their eyes can even pop-out sometimes but do not panic, vets can solve it. Also sometimes hairs around eyes can irritate their eye balls and they will try to scratch it and make it even worse. These are very common problems in this breed. Also additional, this kind of small dogs should not mate with bigger breeds. If they have more than 3-5 babies or bigger size ( which you can see  in USG or X-ray ) puppies they can need ceaserians.

 Pug is popular dog breed in the world. I guess mostly women like small dogs. It is not my favorite dog breed. They are small but very stubborn dogs and like freedom. Yes i can say dominant character they have. You can see they try to fight with other dogs too.

Ok. To create a table you need a table, headers and cells also data inside cells. Headers and cells can be optional sometimes. You need tags for it.

How to publish a magazine on internet

If you have a magazine and you want to put it on web just it seems like on real page by page. It does not matter very big world wide magazine or even nation wide. Maybe small local one and you have also a website and you want to put it there all editions. What you should do? How to do it? Well best way  to do it is use issuu. What is isuu? Issuu is a website allows you to put your magazine on net. You can also find other magazines all over the world published there. Not only magazines but people put some other things like books, catalogs, articles etc.. It is like youtube of magazines.

Well you have to register there first. And also you need to scan your magazine and put it into a .pdf file. Only thing left to do is just sign in and upload it there. Just follow the instructions they give it there. They explaining to you how to do it there anyway.


After you upload it there you put it on your website.

Why they call it Retriever? Because Labrador is a Retriever type of dog.

According to leading kennel clubs and organizations statistics Labrador is most popular dog breed. It is from originally Canada. There is even an island named Labrador ( in fact name is Newfoundland and Labrador Province ) in Canada. Labradors has flipper paws which looks like a frog. They are sea dogs and they love to swim a lot ( some of dog breeds not like it ). Labradors mostly yellow ( light brown ) and black but can be in other colors too like dark brown is also common color in this breed. We can consider it is a big dog class too yes. So that means they will consume a lot of food. In spite of their big body they are really quite energetic dogs so you can struggle to handle them.

Kintamani (dog)

Kintamani is original from Bali Indonesia especially from Kintamani Area. Researchs say it is most closest dog breed to wolf ancestors amongst to all other breeds. It is not very popular dog breed in all over the world. Kintamani much looks like Siberian Husky and Japanese Akita. While some researchs say it is closest to Australian Dingo ( which is a wild dog ). Locals say it is from Chow Chow breed from China 600 years ago.

Kintamanis are owner focused dogs i can say but independent dogs too. Kintamanis usually white colors but it can be sometimes black, brown or mix colors too.

In Bali' complicated culture and rituals there is also a calendar. In fact there is more than one calendar. Two of them. But the one they use even now is namely Saka. You can hear on Bali local people name almost everyday and specify days as good day bad day etc according to this calendar. They even arrange their weddings, ceremonies and special events by this calender with advice of clerics who has studied about Balinese culture and religion and tradition.

This calendar starts with nyepi  which all of expatriates here familiar with this name i guess. Because in nyepi you should not go out from home or turn on any light. Island will turn to a ghost city this day. It is a lunar calendar. It has months as follow;
